I got an offer from my friend who works in local Mercedes dealer of that thing, on 3-year lease for a monthly payment of...169 USD/month. Yes there's a km cap of 15,000km/year, but other than that this sounds like quite a Nice Price. What do you think?

*PS: Brand new A250 Sport in here cost about 54,999 USD.

How bad is the down payment on the lease?

10,000 miles a year is not a lot and I'm sure with a Mercedes lease, extra miles won't come cheap.

She's a bit wrong though. A45 AMG has 2.0l engine which is subjected to 100% Import tax, and the MSRP for it was 87,920 USD with all the tax. Here's the pricelist of Mercedes-Benz Indonesia:

Have you told her to get a M135i Instead? It's a full 16.9k USD cheaper.

Well, we got all of the merc cars sold in europe, even that ugly first-gen A-class.

I'm not really in a market for a hatchback right now. But even if i do, i kinda think A250 is the only hatchback to get if you want something european but not very expensive and not a VW Golf GTI.

Yes there's a VW Scirocco, but that's expensive since we only got the R model. There's also the BMW M135i but it's too expensive as well, and they only sold M135i and 116i, which is sad.
